Our History

Hola! Iker here, 

My hospitality career started over 20 years ago, when with my Father aka ‘Aita’ (a professional Chef for his entire life) by my side I was able to grow professionally, honing my skills and knowledge with a mentor for whom I had great respect. 

I was born in the Basque Country (Bizkaia) and I consider this a lucky charm. Some of the best food culture in the world comes from here. I still hold a passion for food and the hospitality that comes along with it. 

Working in such cities as Paris, Naples, Busan and Michelin star Restaurants in Spain has given me a deep understanding and respect for the best produce and our mission is to share this with you. We haven't forgotten our roots and have drawn on traditions, styles and techniques from Bizkaia and the rest of Spain.

Both in life and career Iker and I have met with a passion for sharing food and wine. 

We love our jobs and we love hosting. Together we have dined at some of the world's most exciting street vendors and prestigious restaurants. We both agree that together with the best produce, the most important ingredient is heart.

Having grown up as a non-indigenous Australian but non the less on the modern Australian stage, I felt the call to find my roots in my Spanish culture and show respect to cultures old and new.

I have been in the Hospitality industry for over ten years with an emphasis on wine in the past few years. 

We cant wait to share a little of who we are…
